OUR SUSTAINABILITY COMMITMENT

Artichoke (producer of HERD) is committed to addressing climate injustice and reducing the environmental impact of our own activities and influence our artists and suppliers to do the same.

Our Sustainability Commitment outlines our key economic, social and environmental commitments and objectives in the development and making of HERD as part of Kirklees Year of Music 2023.

We’re working with industry experts, A Greener Future to ensure that we plan and deliver HERD in as sustainable way as possible. We will work with AGF to undertake a carbon impact assessment of HERD.

Here are some of the things we’re doing monitoring to ensure HERD is a sustainable and responsible event:

 -Waste and recycling

-Protecting the ecology

-Local area impacts

-Energy Procurement & materials

-Travel & transport

– What you can do
